Provide front desk/reception support in busy community mental health center. Duties include answering phones; scheduling appointments; processing referrals; provide provider support; data entry; maintaining computerized scheduling system; checking in clients, completing client paperwork; greet and provide information and assistance to clients & visitors.

New Posting Clinical Director
The Clinical Director is a high-level executive position that will oversee an extensive line of clinical operations, clinical outcomes, and clinical compliance of a large behavioral health organization.

Work closely with the Development and Marketing Manager to promote the Northland’s largest mental health and recovery services provider through written and visual content, marketing, communications, and outreach. This includes but is not limited to e-communications, websites, social media channels, as well as presentations and events. The position will assist in creating and disseminating content as well as providing support in the day-to-day operation and strategy for communications initiatives. Represent HDC at community events including set-up and take-down of booth, and distribution of materials. Actively market HDC’s services and accomplishments to community partners, community members, and referring agencies. Work with Human Resources on public recruitment strategies.

The Program Supervisor will perform regular administrative supervision to members of the Crisis Residential team. This may include scheduling, performance evaluation, and coaching/training. This position will also provide clinical programing to clients. They will work collaboratively with the Director of Residential Crisis Services and Administrative team to maintain a positive work environment and provide high quality services to clients.

The Crisis Response Supervisor provides crisis services, program development, and supervision to the crisis team. In addition, the Crisis Response Supervisor will maintain positive collaborative working relationships with community service providers including strong collaboration with law enforcement, hospitals, and other mental health providers to address community-based crisis needs.

Mental Health Practitioner provides direct support services, including skills training, crisis assistance, treatment plan development, medication administration, group facilitation, one on one support/interventions, and discharge planning.

The Human Development Center’s Custodians are a crucial part of the HDC team by providing day-to-day cleaning of multiple sites to promote health and safety.

The program aims to improve the functioning of children in the home, in school, and in the community.

Provide nursing care to clients with severe mental illness (SMI) in collaboration with other members of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.

(Part-Time) Community Support Providers will coordinate and provide services for adults diagnosed with a mental illness. Services may include providing ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services), MH-TCM (Mental Health Targeted Case Management), or a combination of both. This position will work closely with all community support services to help clients live more successfully and independently in the community. The successful candidate will work with a multi-disciplinary team of internal and external providers to assess needs and apply interventions appropriately.

Mental Health Practitioner provides direct support services, including skills training, crisis assistance, treatment plan development, medication administration, group facilitation, and one on one support/interventions, and discharge planning. The provider will work collaborate with the treatment team to collaborate on client care, progress on treatment goals, and referrals for ongoing support and mental health services. MHP’s work with a multi-disciplinary team of internal and external providers to assess needs and apply interventions appropriately. This position is based in a short-term residential facility. Shifts consist of overnights. Three twelve hour shifts are possible.

This position provides weekday on-call crisis services in Carlton County and provides jail outreach services. This position will work with Carlton County Director, CTSS Supervisor, Carlton County Health and Human Services, Carlton County RAP Team, and law enforcement, to provide crisis response services and assist in the development of a model that suits the needs in Carlton County.

The Certified Peer Specialist (Peer Specialist) will provide behavioral health services that foster supportive peer relationships with clients in the various community support programs. Certified peer specialists are individuals who have had personal experience of mental illness and are trained to be direct service mental health staff. Applicants must have completed the DHS State approved training and be certified as a Peer Specialist.

*$2,000 Sign on bonus for all qualifying individual's* Community Support Providers will coordinate and provide services for adults diagnosed with a mental illness. Services may include providing ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services), MH-TCM (Mental Health Targeted Case Management), or a combination of both. Provide mental health treatment services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness including assertive outreach, service coordination, case management, symptom management, supportive therapy, and rehabilitative services. The primary emphasis is direct individual client contact in community settings with a small caseload.
