SUMMARY:
The Human Development Center's Custodians are a crucial part of the HDC team by providing day-to-day cleaning of multiple sites to promote health and safety.
DUTIES:
- It is the role of the custodian to follow the daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules at each HDC work site, but not limited to, the office areas, break rooms, hallways, bathrooms, storage areas, entrances, elevators and parking lots.
- The custodian will also be responsible for performing additional duties such as occasional stripping and/or waxing of floors, operate walk behind floor scrubber, monitor/request paper products and/or cleaning supplies, and ensure buildings are secure at end of each shift.
- The shift is Monday through Friday 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Reliable transportation is a must as more than one location may be cleaned each night.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities with attention to details.
