Marketing and Outreach Specialist

DUTIES:
- Work closely with the Development and Marketing Manager to promote the Northland's largest mental health and recovery services provider through written and visual content, marketing, communications, and outreach. This includes but is not limited to e-communications, websites, social media channels, as well as presentations and events. The position will assist in creating and disseminating content as well as providing support in the day-to-day operation and strategy for communications initiatives.
- Represent HDC at community events including set-up and take-down of booth, and distribution of materials.
- Actively market HDC's services and accomplishments to community partners, community members, and referring agencies.
- Work with Human Resources on public recruitment strategies.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Experience with public speaking in front of small to medium sized groups of people.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in providing mental health services to clients or lived experience with mental health services.
- Have the ability to work 36 hours but get paid for 40 hours!
