DUTIES:

-  This position provides weekday on-call crisis services in Carlton County and provides jail outreach services. 

- This position will work with Carlton County Director, CTSS Supervisor, Carlton County Health and Human Services, Carlton County RAP Team, and law enforcement, to provide crisis response services and assist in the development of a model that suits the needs in Carlton County.

-  This position will provide follow-up to the person utilizing crisis services and provide additional resources as needed.

-  This position will also provide CTSS services.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

-  Mental Health Practitioner with at least three years of experience in a community-based program, and experience with a crisis response service.

-  Knowledgeable about eligibility requirements and access requirements for many of the resources available to individuals with mental and chemical health issues.

-  Must possess good communication and documentation skills, client advocacy skills, innovative thinking ability, and flexibility.

-  Must be able to effectively manage crisis situations, work independently, maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, police, corrections, and various community organizations providing services to individuals with mental illness.
