This program aims to improve the functioning of children in the home, in school, and in the community.

Mental Health Rehabilitation Workers will coordinate and provide services for adults diagnosed with a mental illness. Services include providing ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services). This position will work closely with all community support services to help clients live more successfully and independently in the community. The successful candidate will work with a multi-disciplinary team of internal and external providers to assess needs and apply interventions appropriately.

The employment specialist position networks with employers, community leaders and local partners to develop job opportunities that meet the needs of all parties involved.

Provide mobile crisis services – Assessment, Intervention, and Stabilization. Upon dispatch from First Call For Help Call Center, respond to community locations to address immediate safety needs. De-escalate situations as appropriate. Coordinate with law enforcement or hospital staff to address immediate safety needs

Provide front desk/reception support in busy community mental health center. Duties include answering phones; scheduling appointments; processing referrals; provide provider support; data entry; maintaining computerized scheduling system; checking in clients, completing client paperwork; greet and provide information and assistance to clients & visitors.

The Human Development Center’s Custodians are a crucial part of the HDC team by providing day-to-day cleaning of multiple sites to promote health and safety.

Provide nursing care to clients with severe mental illness (SMI) in collaboration with other members of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.

The Certified Peer Specialist (Peer Specialist) will provide behavioral health services that foster supportive peer relationships with clients in the various community support programs. Certified peer specialists are individuals who have had personal experience of mental illness and are trained to be direct service mental health staff. Applicants must have completed the DHS State approved training and be certified as a Peer Specialist.
