On-Call Crisis Response-Mental Health Professional

County: Cook County, MN

Salary:  $3.00 per hour Monday at 5:00pm to Friday at 8:00 am

$6.00 per hour Friday at 5:00 to Monday at 8:00 am

$6.00 per hour for HDC observed holidays

Time and a half if called


Summary: Opportunity to work On-Call (nights and weekends) providing crisis response services as part of multi-agency team under Region III. 

DUTIES:  Coordinate follow up services with the Adult and Child Crisis Coordinators.  Answer calls and meet with clients (children or adults) after hours in pre-arranged locations within the county to provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.  Work with hospitals, law enforcement, social services, and other community providers.  Must be able to have a flexible monthly schedule that allows availability on scheduled weeks and weekends.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree or extensive experience in human services or a related field. Experience providing direct services to diverse populations and working with community partners.  Ability to identify crisis situations and appropriate responses.  Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required. Must have own vehicle and a valid driver's license.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's Degree in human services or a related field. Familiarity with local resources for adults, children, and families.  Experience with documentation in Care logic Electronic Medical Record.
