Salary: $17.58 - $23.86 (Dependent upon Experience) *$2,000 Sign on bonus for all qualifying individual's*

DUTIES:

-  The employment specialist position primarily works directly with program consumers to develop competitive employment positions with employers in the community that are suitable to the needs and desires of consumers, coordinates and/or provides training for career development, and provides long-term supports as needed to program consumers to help them maintain employment and mental health.

-  This position will be based out of HDC's Duluth CSP building and will serve St. Louis County. Coordinates with inter-disciplinary team consisting of Case Managers, ARMHS Providers, Therapists, Psychiatrists, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

-  Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University;

-  or High School Diploma/GED and 1-2 years related direct experience and/or training;

-  or equivalent combination of education and experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-  Experience in mental health, social services, or human services working with diverse populations.

-  Experience providing MFIP services and working knowledge of local businesses and job market.

-  Demonstrated ability in navigating social service resources, networking with business professionals, and effectively working on a team.
