 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

DUTIES:

-  Unique blend of residential crisis, mental health urgent care and outpatient client care.

-  Evaluate and treat psychiatric patients with chronic and acute mental health problems across the lifespan.

-  Supervise RNs, LPNs, and other staff as assigned. 

-  This position will require travel between locations within Duluth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

-  Master's degree in nursing with board certification from the ANCC as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

-  RN and APNP license in MN.

-  At least one year's experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

-  At least three years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-  RN and APRN License in MN with previous work experience in a community mental health clinic or other psychiatric clinic setting as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

-  Knowledge of addictions and experience working with adults as well as children and adolescents.

-  Knowledge of community behavioral health systems and resources.

-  Flexibility and willingness to work in a variety of settings including the clinic and other community sites.
