DUTIES: Perform a wide variety of accounting duties, analyze financial information, and prepare financial reports. Play an integral role in the monthly financial close process, including preparing and posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, performing cost analysis for negotiating contracts, and preparing various other financial reports. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare reports in support of grants and programs. Provide support for external audits. Utilize and become expert in the agency's accounting and reporting systems and accounting control procedures. Collaborate effectively with other members of the Finance team and other staff throughout the agency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in accounting. Strong excel skills with focus on use of pivot tables and the VLOOKUP formula. Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Team player with a positive attitude.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with healthcare finance/accounting. Experience with database reporting tools.
