Human Development Center (HDC) is hiring a Nursing Supervisor to join Yellow Leaf, our Residential Crisis Stabilization Center. HDC provides a safe environment for people to stabilize while experiencing a mental health crisis that may be an alternative to a hospital setting. Yellow Leaf provides services to adults experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency. This includes serving persons with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. This program typically supports up to 12 people at any given time. These services are time-limited and generally range between 3 and 10 days. You will be working in a fast-paced setting with a newly designed therapeutic program.
The Nursing Supervisor is a fully integrated member of the team and oversees the Registered Nurses at Yellow Leaf. The RNs guide the medication and medical treatment needs of all individuals served at Yellow Leaf.

The Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) will provide direct outpatient substance use disorder counseling and support to individuals and families experiencing addiction, and will assist the program director with all aspects of outpatient treatment program operations.

Duties include answering phones; scheduling appointments; processing referrals; provide provider support; data entry; maintaining computerized scheduling system; checking in clients, completing client paperwork; greet and provide information and assistance to clients & visitors.
The Program Supervisor will perform regular administrative supervision to members of the Crisis Residential team. This may include scheduling, performance evaluation, and coaching/training. This position will also provide clinical programing to clients. The provider will work collaborate with the treatment team to collaborate on client care, progress on treatment goals, and referrals for ongoing support and mental health services. MHP’s work with a multi-disciplinary team of internal and external providers to assess needs and apply interventions appropriately. This position is based in a short-term residential facility. Shifts consist of overnights. Three twelve hour shifts are possible.
This position provides weekday on-call crisis services in Carlton County and provides jail outreach services. This position will work with Carlton County Director, Supervisors of adult and children CSP, Carlton County Health and Human Services, Carlton County RAP Team, and law enforcement, to provide crisis response services and assist in the development of a model that suits the needs in Carlton County.
The Certified Peer Specialist (Peer Specialist) will provide behavioral health services that foster supportive peer relationships with clients in the various community support programs. Certified peer specialists are individuals who have had personal experience of mental illness and are trained to be direct service mental health staff. Applicants must have completed the DHS State approved training and be certified as a Peer Specialist.
