DUTIES:Unique blend of direct patient care and management. Evaluate and treat psychiatric patients with chronic and acute mental health problems across the lifespan. Supervise RNs, LPNs, and other staff as assigned. Exciting opportunity to be part of multi-disciplinary Assertive Community Treatment program (ACT). This position will require travel between locations on designated clinic days and possible locations would include; Duluth, Cloquet, Virginia.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in nursing with board certification from the ANCC as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. RN and APNP license in MN. At least five years of experience as a psychiatric nurse.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: RN and APNP Licensed in MN with previous work experience in a community mental health clinic or other psychiatric clinic setting as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Previous experience working on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. Also, knowledge of addictions and experience working with adults as well as children and adolescents; knowledge of community behavioral health systems and resources. Flexibility and willingness to work in a variety of settings including the clinic and other community sites.
