The Human Development Center (HDC) is seeking a Director of Recovery Services to oversee the daily operations of the Recover Program.

The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (Peer Specialist) will provide behavioral health services that foster supportive peer relationships with clients in the various community support programs. Certified peer specialists are individuals who have had personal experience of mental illness and are trained to be direct service mental health staff. Applicants must have completed the DHS State approved training and be certified as a Peer Specialist. This position will also provide Adult Rehabilitation Mental Health Services to adults in order to help clients live a more successfully and independently in their community.

New Posting Nursing Supervisor
Human Development Center (HDC) is hiring a Nursing Supervisor to join Yellow Leaf, our Residential Crisis Stabilization Center. HDC provides a safe environment for people to stabilize while experiencing a mental health crisis that may be an alternative to a hospital setting. Yellow Leaf provides services to adults experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency. This includes serving persons with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. This program typically supports up to 12 people at any given time. These services are time-limited and generally range between 3 and 10 days. You will be working in a fast-paced setting with a newly designed therapeutic program. The Nursing Supervisor is a fully integrated member of the team and oversees the Registered Nurses at Yellow Leaf. The RNs guide the medication and medical treatment needs of all individuals served at Yellow Leaf.

Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to write reports to pull data for the purpose of submitting grant applications, state, and federal reporting, and analyzing trends in care. Assist in planning, installation, and implementation of EHR development and upgrade projects. Support and assist with problem resolution as it relates to the EHR product and end users.

Through a partnership with First Call for Help (FCFH) Call Center and the Arrowhead Behavioral Health Network (ABHI), HDC’s Crisis Response Team model includes: Face to face contact in the community with people facing a crisis situation, community outreach activities to build relationships of trust, collaboration with community providers, referrals to services of choice and assistance connecting with resource as desired, coordination and transportation, interventions and assistance to divert from law enforcement and emergency department involvement, and triage provided by FCFH Call Center.

Mental Health Practitioner provides direct support services, including skills training, crisis assistance, treatment plan development, medication administration, group facilitation, and one on one support/interventions, and discharge planning. The provider will work collaborate with the treatment team to collaborate on client care, progress on treatment goals, and referrals for ongoing support and mental health services. MHP’s work with a multi-disciplinary team of internal and external providers to assess needs and apply interventions appropriately. This position is based in a short-term residential facility. Shifts consist of rotating days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Unique blend of residential crisis, mental health urgent care and outpatient client care. Evaluate and treat psychiatric patients with chronic and acute mental health problems across the lifespan. Provider will assist families in accessing necessary services to meet mental health needs of children ages 0-18. Collaborate with clinical team to create, review, and implement treatment plan goals and objectives. Provide individual, group, and family skills training based on the treatment plan in the home, school, and community. Requires flexible scheduling and some evening work. Great opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team including therapists, psychologists, and child psychiatry.

Provide mental health treatment services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness including assertive outreach, service coordination, case management, symptom management, supportive therapy, and rehabilitative services. The primary emphasis is direct individual client contact in community settings with a small caseload.

The LADC will provide individual, family, and group addiction counseling, and will also be responsible for working with and providing education to a diverse population of individuals, families, and groups within the community. The LADC will have working relationships and be familiar with other service providers and community resources, and will be able to provide information and support, and make referrals to best meet client need.

Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, the clinical supervisor will support the outpatient therapy team providing clinical supervision for MSW's and other master's level therapists requiring supervision for licensure. Duties will include individual and group supervision, co-signing documentation, training and supporting newly hired clinicians, and assisting the Program Supervisor as needed. This position will primarily perform diagnostic assessments to initiate services for individuals and maintain a small caseload. The split between clinical and administrative duties is to be 75% Clinical, 25% Administrative.
